Cherry Drop Cookies 01-May-2007
1 box (2 layer) cherry cake mix
1/4 cup veg. oil
2 Tbsp. water
2 eggs
few drops of red food coloring (if desired)
1 cup chopped walnuts
maraschino cherries
Preheat oven to 350°. Blend cake mix, oil, water, eggs, and food coloring. Stir in nuts. Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with 1/2 a maraschino cherry. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for about 1 minute. Remove to rack to finish cooling. Yield: 4 to 5 dozen cookies. |
